Every card you list on Rookie is automatically mirrored to an eBay listing under the Rookie corporate seller account — same photos, title, price, and condition. You manage one inventory in Rookie; we publish to both marketplaces. Unlisting or pausing on Rookie withdraws the eBay listing too.

What does “auto-sync sales” mean in practice?

When a card sells — on either side — the other side is taken down within seconds so you never double-sell. eBay sales push an order into your Rookie dashboard with the buyer, price, and tracking fields ready. Rookie sales end the matching eBay listing automatically. Your vault, ledger, and analytics stay in one place no matter where the buyer came from.

What are transparent transactions and how do they stop me from overpaying?

As a Pro Seller, every card in the Shop and your Vault shows the full sold-comp history — actual eBay, PriceCharting, COMC, and Fanatics Collect auction results blended into a single fair-market range. You see the AI price, the low / high band, and a confidence badge before you ever make an offer or hit Buy. That transparency means you know exactly what a card is worth in real time, so you never pay above fair-market value again.

How does the reduced platform fee work?

Accepted Answer

Standard Rookie sellers pay a 10% platform fee on completed sales. Pro Sellers pay 7% — a 30% cut to your platform fee — for as long as the subscription is active. The reduction applies to every sale routed through Rookie, including ones that originated as eBay cross-posts. eBay's own seller fees are separate and billed by eBay.

Do I need an existing eBay seller account?

Accepted Answer

No — by default, your listing publishes under Rookie's own eBay storefront for extra reach and buyer trust. You still pack and ship the card directly to the buyer yourself; Rookie holds funds in escrow and releases them once the buyer confirms delivery. If you'd rather list under your own eBay username, you can optionally link a personal eBay account in Settings → Integrations → eBay and switch your default. Rookie never sees your eBay password — the link uses eBay's official OAuth.

What happens if I cancel Pro Seller?

Accepted Answer

Your eBay cross-posts stop syncing at the end of the billing period and your platform fee returns to 10%. Active cross-posts remain under Rookie's eBay account and are withdrawn automatically when the listing ends or you unlist the card. List Bot Advisor and Deep Research are also disabled until you re-subscribe.

Are kid accounts allowed to use Pro Seller?

Accepted Answer

No. Cross-posting and selling-for-cash require an adult account with parent approval on file. Pro Seller is locked behind the same adult-only checks that gate listing for sale on Rookie.
